Summit LOTHLÓRIEN

SUMMIT LOTHLÓRIEN is a conceptual youth center designed as a place of refuge, transition, and emotional recovery for adolescents.

The project explores architecture as a protective and grounding environment, where space supports well-being through scale, light, materiality, and spatial sequencing. Inspired by the idea of elevation and the forest canopy, the center is conceived as a layered environment that balances openness and retreat.

The proposed location in the Hollywood Highlands informed the project’s relationship to landscape, topography, and views, reinforcing the concept of ascent and distance from urban pressure. The design prioritizes calm, safety, and adaptability, creating a non-institutional atmosphere focused on presence, privacy, and restoration.

SUMMIT LOTHLÓRIEN presents an architectural framework where emotional stability and spatial clarity guide every design decision.
